  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup pineapple juice
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)
  • Sliced pineapple rings for garnish
  • Fresh cilantro leaves for garnish

  1. In a bowl, combine pineapple juice, soy sauce, brown sugar, minced garlic, grated ginger, black pepper, and cayenne pepper. Mix until sugar is dissolved.
  2. Place chicken breasts in a resealable plastic bag and pour the marinade over them. Seal the bag and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes (or up to 8 hours for best flavor).
  3. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat and oil the grates to prevent sticking.
  4. Remove chicken from the marinade and grill for 6-8 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C) and the chicken is no longer pink in the center.
  5. During the last few minutes of grilling, add pineapple rings to the grill and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until they have grill marks.
  6. Serve the Hawaiian Grilled Chicken with grilled pineapple rings and garnish with fresh cilantro. Enjoy your tropical feast!
